Amber Gourd-Shaped Vessel

A hand-carved red amber vessel in the form of a double gourd, with smooth, rounded contours. The translucent amber material allows for the natural variations to be appreciated, while the vessel’s surface is polished to a high gloss. The double-gourd form is a traditional shape often associated with longevity and good fortune in Chinese arts.
